Tribal Women Empowerment in Social, Economic and Self Reliance (TWESESR)

The programme was focused to uplift the economic and social status of the tribal women of Koraon Block of Allahabad district through interventions e.g. goat rearing, kitchen gardening, compost pit preparation, Self Help Group Formation, Nursery raising (seedling production), Plantation and informal literacy classes among identified target group of women. The programme was implemented in two phases and number of women covered under the programme (under different intervention)and started self-employment activities e.g. goat rearing, women in seedling production and compost pit preparation. The programme was implemented for 5 years.
