Training for Rural Youth (TRY)

The programme was focused to provide skill to rural youth in different trades e.g.TV/Radio repairing, computer operation, two wheeler repairing, diesel water pump repairing, sewing & stitching, battery repairing/making, leaf plate making and candle making. The target audience was young and energetic youth of the Koraon & Shankergarh Blocks of Allahabad (Prayagraj) who are living Below Poverty Line. Through the programme youths got training in different trades and started earning from learnt trades. The programme was lasted for two years i.e. from 2006 to 2008.
