WASH – Water Sanitation and Hygiene

Safe drinking water and proper sanitation and hygiene for the community members were the priority for the organization. Under the programme, we had been able to provide hand pumps and wells in different villages of Koroan and Shankergarh blocks of Allahabad (Prayagraj). The activities had not only provide safe drinking water to the community but also helped to reduce medical expenses incurred on health issues of the family members.

The organization also helped the families in Koraon and Shankergarh block to establish pot holes and practice better sanitation and hygiene. Pot holes in different remote villages of Koroan & Shankergarh blocks.

WASH programme was stopped in 2013. However it has been adapted in Integrated Training in Rural India programme.
