The organization has been actively involved in uplifting the financial condition of the BPL women. Keeping the vision in mind, Women’s Self Help Group (micro credit and thrift groups) among the target women created. In this regard, the organization has been able to motivate women of the target area i.e. in the remotest village of Prayagraj District of UP, to make groups.

Women are trained by the organization to keep their SHG record up to date without external help. Once the groups are trained, they are motivated to link themselves with the Village Level Organization to get the further training and benefits from the government schemes.

Apart from the internal loaning system to meet out families’ emergencies, women of the group have been able to start small business in their neighborhood e.g. purchase of buffalo & sewing machine, small shop etc. and  increase their family income through sustainable income.

             Women literacy classes are also clubbed with women self-help groups. In the literacy class, members of the groups are invited to learn basic Hindi and Math so that they can understand what is going on in & outside of their group.
